Directory services¶

Permission Assist identities (within the Manage > Identities page) are imported from a directory services application. Currently, the only supported directory source configuration is connecting to Active Directory using LDAP.

Directory sources¶

This area allows you to set up new directory sources, which are used to populate the primary list of identities.

If a directory source is already set up, this area also displays the name of the directory source and the date of the most recent import. Within this area, you can:

• Add or edit a directory source
• Manually sync a directory source
• Archive a directory source
• Restore a directory source
• Delete a directory source
