Personnel managers guide

Note

This section of Permission Assist documentation only applies to customers that have purchased the IAM Operations module. If you would like to know more about IAM Operations, contact Support.

Personnel Managers initiate personnel events such as onboarding, offboarding, role transitions, and leaves of absence. Personnel Managers can also track the progress of an event as it moves through each step of the process. Anyone assigned to the Personnel Managers group in System Configuration > System Authentication is a Personnel Manager.

For an overview of event types, the step-by-step workflow, scheduling, and how personnel events create access requests, see How personnel events work.
