Cancel an access request

An access request can be canceled at any point before it is Completed. Canceling a request permanently closes it. If the request was created as a remediation from a review, the associated review item is reset to Flagged status.

To cancel a request, complete the following steps:

  1. If you are starting from the Change Management Taskboard, select the outstanding request. The request details page is displayed.

    If you are starting from the Review Items Taskboard, select a flagged review item. In the detail panel, select the numbered link to the right of the item's status. The access request is displayed in a new page.

  2. Select the Actions (...) button in the upper right corner of the page and pick Cancel from the list. The confirmation window is displayed.

    Note

    If you are prevented from working on requests related to your own permissions (based on system configuration settings), the Cancel option is not available.

  3. Enter Cancel in the field and select the Cancel button. The request is canceled.
