Restore a directory source

An archived directory source can be restored so that it can once again update on its configured schedule. Restoring a directory source re-enables synchronization but does not recover any data that was removed during the archiving process (such as orphaned identities, directory group associations, or authentication access).

To restore an archived directory source, complete the following steps:

  1. From the Directory Sources list (System Configuration > Directory Sources), select the archived directory source you want to restore.
  2. Select the Restore option.
  3. Select the Restore button to confirm. The directory source is restored and will resume synchronization on its configured schedule.

Note

After restoring, you may need to run a manual sync to re-import identity and group data that was removed during archiving.
