Download the Software Bill of Materials

The Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) for your installed version of Permission Assist is available for download directly within the application. Use the downloaded file to assess the application's dependencies using your vulnerability management tooling.

To download the SBOM, complete the following steps:

  1. Select the Help button in the navigation bar and select About Permission Assist. The About Permission Assist window is displayed, showing the component list for your installed version.

  2. In the SBOM Downloads section, select the format you need. The file is downloaded to your browser's default download location.

    Note

    Both formats contain the same dependency inventory. If your tooling supports either format, CycloneDX is widely supported by open-source vulnerability scanners.

    Format Use when
    SPDX 2.3 Your tools or processes require ISO/IEC 5962:2021 format (e.g., regulatory reporting, legal review)
    CycloneDX 1.5 Your vulnerability management tools accept CycloneDX format (e.g., Dependency-Track, Snyk, Vanta)

  3. Import the downloaded file into your vulnerability management or compliance tooling for analysis.
