Delete or archive a review

Reviews can be deleted if they are in either a Draft or an Open status; reviews that have already been Completed must be archived. Deleting a review removes all data related to the review including comments, actions, and any decisions made; however, any remediation requests that were initiated within the review remain available within the Remediations Taskboard. (Remediation requests can be cancelled if needed as long as they have not already been completed.)

Archiving a review hides the review from the Reviews list. All information related to the review is retained. When creating a new review, Permission Assist will look at the most recent review to determine what permissions were present (for comparing to the permissions in the current review) even if that review has been archived.

To delete or archive a review, complete the following steps:

  1. From the reviews list, select the review you want to delete or archive. The Reviews / Details page appears.

  2. Select the Settings tab.

  3. Select the link (either Delete or Archive) in the lower-left corner of the page.

  4. If you are deleting the review, a confirmation window will appear, allowing you to confirm your choice.

    Warning

    All data associated with the review will be deleted, but access requests that have already been created within the review cannot be deleted.

  5. To continue and delete the review, type DELETE in the field, and select the Delete button. A Success message is displayed to indicate the review has been successfully deleted.

    If you are archiving the review, you do not have to confirm your choice; the review is archived and a Success message is displayed to indicate the archive was successful.
