Application Responsibilities report¶

The Application Responsibilities report is the organization-wide roster of who owns and provisions each application. For every application in Permission Assist, the report lists the identities assigned as Application Manager (the owner who is consulted on access decisions for the application) and Provision Engineer (the person who performs the provisioning changes against the application).

The report covers every application at once — unlike most reports in the Applications section, it is not scoped to a single application. Use it as the cross-cutting view of application responsibility.

When to use this report¶

• Coverage audit. Confirm that every application has both an Application Manager and a Provision Engineer assigned. Gaps in either column are operational risks.
• Successor planning. Before someone changes roles or leaves, this report shows every application they're responsible for so coverage can be transferred.
• Audit response. Examiners often ask who is accountable for each application's access posture. This report is that answer in one document.
• Onboarding orientation. When a new Security Team member starts, this report orients them to who owns what across the application portfolio.

Output format¶

This report is Excel-only — there is no PDF version. It has no parameters or filters; it always covers every application in Permission Assist.

Columns¶

The table is sorted by application name, then by identity within each application. When an identity holds both roles for the same application, they appear in a single row with both Application Manager and Provision Engineer marked.
